SyncBoy - Terms of Use

Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using SyncBoy ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
Description of Service
SyncBoy is a Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance emulator application for iOS and Apple Watch. The App allows you to play compatible ROM files on your Apple devices. The App does not include any game ROMs. You are responsible for providing your own legally obtained ROM files.
User Responsibilities
You agree that you will only use the App with ROM files that you have the legal right to use. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the App complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction. SquatchCraft LLC does not condone or encourage software piracy.
In-App Purchases
The App offers an optional one-time "Pro Pack" purchase that unlocks additional features including Apple Watch streaming, Link Cable multiplayer, and AI Play. All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. Purchases are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policies. You may restore previously purchased content on any device signed into the same Apple ID.
Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, graphics, and documentation, is the intellectual property of SquatchCraft LLC. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except as permitted by applicable law.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. SquatchCraft LLC does not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components. We do not guarantee compatibility with all ROM files or hardware configurations.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SquatchCraft LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damage to your device.
Third-Party Services
The App uses Apple frameworks including StoreKit, WatchConnectivity, Multipeer Connectivity, AVFoundation, and Metal. Your use of these services is subject to Apple's terms and conditions. The App does not integrate with any other third-party services.
Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how the App handles your data.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Use or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing Law
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
